CAPABILITY
Giving the End Consumer a Seat in Decision-Making
Consumer Goods
China

This project embedded the consumer voice into organisational decision-making, making customer considerations a formal part of key business processes.
PROJECT GOAL
Make the consumer perspective a systematic part of organisational decision-making rather than an occasional input.
APPROACH
Identified where the consumer perspective was lost in existing processes, introduced and implemented targeted interventions at key decision points, supported by training and coaching to embed new ways of working.
OUTCOME
Implemented practical process changes that formalised consumer input in critical decisions, strengthened customer-centric ways of working across the organisation and laid the foundation for continued capability building.
THE BIG WOW
Consumer centricity is not created by generating more consumer insights.
It emerges when organisations are designed to let those insights influence decisions.
